With the transition area in Bayview Park across from Pamida on U.S. Highway 2 in Ashland, the race will continue with a 15-mile bike ride through the downtown and countryside of Ashland County. The event will end with a 5K run on the waterfront rail leading to Ashland’s marina.
Given the Lake Superior swim, wet suits are welcome. All participants must wear a swim cap and will be issued one at check in.
Racers will all receive a technical shirt and a finisher’s medal. There will be aid stations and post-race food. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top two in each year-year age group between 15 and 85.
